Nationally recognizedBang Bang Pie & Biscuits in Logan Square is looking for a very eager, self motivated, and good natured human to work in our busy cafe to prepare savory items on the line including biscuit sandwiches, grits, pot pies & morefor our cafe guests as well as prepping items in the bakery & for our catering & wholesale clients. Positive vibes & ablity to work as a team & support your colleagues is a must. Multi tasking & ability to work a busy hot line composing dishes consistently throughout the shift required. Competitive hourly pay + portion of pooled tips consistently averages above $21+/Hour & will increase as we get busier for the summer holiday season! No late hours! Strong advancement opportunities. It'sa great time to join our team so you can enjoy evenings & all major holidays offTasks include but not limited to:1. Performing prep tasks in timing and consistent manner as assigned2. Working in accordance with all Chicago health standards, as well as having a currentfood handlers certificate.3. Keeping walk in organized and clean at all times (including consolidation, FIFO)4. Putting orders away when they arrive in organized manner5. Washing own dishes when the dishwasher is not scheduled as well as helping whennecessary while the dishwasher is scheduled.6. Be able to prep/execute all recipes on prep list7. Perform deep clean task when there is down time, list is provided8. Take direction from lead line cook as well as kitchen/wholesale managers9. Maintain standards for quality for all products.10. Work in a clean and sanitary manner11. Perform any opening/mid-shift/closing procedures in place12. Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.
